Operational record

Proven in a real drone war

The effect is not theoretical. It was demonstrated in high-intensity combat in 2020, and what was learned there is the reason the J-05 exists in its current form.

The 2020 record and what it taught us

2020 · Nagorno-Karabakh

  • J-03 fielded in combat. ADX's third-generation long-range GNSS jammer, deployed during the 2020 war.
  • Loitering munition brought down. Credited with defeating an advanced loitering munition. Airframe recovered, and confirmed by Armenia's Ministry of Defence.
  • Artillery correction degraded. GNSS-guided artillery correction disrupted across repeated engagements.

What we learned

  • The effect worked. The coverage did not. There were too few units to hold a continuous field across the theatre. The physics was proven; the density was not there.
  • Density is the whole problem. A sparse line of jammers leaves corridors. Continuous denial needs overlapping fields from many bearings.
  • J-05 answers that lesson. Far greater reach per unit, so a network of roughly 100 holds 10,000 km² - the coverage 2020 lacked.
Today. The engineering behind the J-series goes back more than a decade, and development has been continuous since ADX Systems was founded in 2020. Every generation ADX has delivered was accepted through formal state commission testing. J-05, the fifth generation, is approved and under contract with Armenia's Ministry of Defence. Engagement detail beyond this summary is available to qualified parties under NDA.
