Engineering leadership
Ara Tarumyan founded ADX Systems in 2020 and leads it as Chief Executive Officer. He holds a doctorate in electrical engineering from the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, and his career spans three decades of hardware and systems work: leading hardware R&D at the Academy's Engineering Center, engineering and testchip group management in semiconductor design automation, and twelve years as a systems engineer in test and measurement instrumentation, the discipline software-defined radio comes from. The J-05 is an SDR system, designed by an engineer who spent his career in the instrumentation that measures them.
Track record
The engineering behind the J-series goes back more than a decade. ADX Systems was founded in 2020 to carry it forward, and development has been continuous since. J-03 was fielded in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, credited with bringing down an advanced loitering munition and with degrading GNSS-guided artillery correction. J-05, the fifth generation, is approved and under contract with Armenia's Ministry of Defence.
An engineering company
Nine of our fourteen people are engineers. RF design, assembly, integration and test are all done in-house, by the people who designed the system. Enquiries reach them directly.
Acceptance & qualification
Every generation ADX has delivered has been accepted through formal state commission testing, against national defence standards, with acceptance instruments countersigned at ministerial level. Those documents cannot be published, but they can be made available to qualified government parties under appropriate arrangement. The environmental test envelope is published in full.
